The Power of your Thoughts

Have you ever been at a point in your life where all you can think about is everything that is just going wrong around you? Well, I can relate because a few months ago my thoughts seemed to only consist of all my failed goals. My perception was coloured with self-disappointment, making me feel like the world around me…my life really… was a disaster. It felt as if life was just whizzing by and I could do nothing to stop it, there were no solutions to my problems in sight.

I have since discovered the power of my mind. It is more than a brain that can operate on its own – autopilot. It is a powerful tool that can shape my life. The truth is your thoughts create your reality, whatever you think will determine your behaviour and how you feel. So if you think like a failure it is likely that you will behave and feel like a failure and this will directly highlight your belief that you must be a failure. You have to grant yourself the power to create the changes you want to see manifested in your life. You should stop limiting your potential by drawing inaccurate conclusions about who you are and what you are capable of doing.

Everything you perceive in the physical world has its origin in the unseen, or the inner world of your thoughts and beliefs. Everything and everyone that shows up in your life is an echo of something that is happening inside you. James Allen said "circumstances do not make a man, they reveal him". Every aspect of your life, from the state of your finances to the state of your health and your relationships accurately reveals your thoughts and your beliefs.

Just because you think something, does not always make it true, because the good news is you can change how you think. You can adjust your perception and change your life. Start by producing a more positive attitude that can lead to better values. This does not necessarily mean that positive thoughts have fairy-dust powers, but if you create optimistic thoughts they will lead to productive behaviour, which increases your chances of producing encouraging outcomes.
‘’What you think, you create, what you feel you attract and what you imagine you become”.

It’s a cliché because it’s true.
